2022 US-Taiwan Business Forum

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) and the US-Taiwan Business Council (USTBC) co-hosted the 2022 U.S.-Taiwan Business Forum on June 28, 2022. This was a closed-door discussion between U.S. and Taiwan business leaders, with attendees including members from the Taiwan delegation to the SelectUSA Investment Summit. Taiwan’s Minister of the National Development Council, Dr. Ming-Hsin Kung, led the Taiwan delegation to the Forum.

Andrew Quinn, Director of Trade & Development Policy at General Electric, served as the Forum moderator. Attendees participated in a discussion on ways to enhance the bilateral economic partnership. We examined a number of important issues such as supply chain challenges, across sectors such as information technology, electric vehicles, finance, energy, semiconductors, aerospace, and others.
