On May 20, 2016, Council Chairman Paul Wolfowitz traveled to Taipei, Taiwan to attend the Inauguration of Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen.

On April 18, 2016, the Council hosts a Roundtable & Seminar with President Elect Tsai -Ing-wen and the economics and trade team of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), in Taipei, Taiwan.
On April 18-20, 2016, Council Chairman Paul Wolfowitz, Council President Rupert Hammond-Chambers, members of the Council’s Board of Directors, and members of the Chairman’s circle traveled to Taiwan to meet with President Ma Ying-jeou and President Elect Tsai Ing-wen, and to promote and improve bilateral trade and business relations between the United States and Taiwan.
On January 21, the Council hosts a meeting for its Board of Directors and Chairman’s Circle members with Dr. Joseph Wu, Secretary General of Taiwan’s Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), in Washington D.C.
On November 3-5, 2015, Council Chairman Paul Wolfowitz, Council President Rupert Hammond Chambers, and members of the Council’s Board of Directors traveled to Taiwan to meet with council members, Taiwan government officials, and Taiwan business leaders.
