USTBC Comments on the Proposed FMS in Support of Taiwan Participation in Patriot IESP & FSP

The US-Taiwan Business Council today welcomed the announcement of a possible Foreign Military Sale of equipment and services to support Taiwan’s participation in the Patriot International Engineering Services Program (IESP) and Field Surveillance Program (FSP) for five years, at an estimated cost of US$100 million.

Vice President Lai was traveling home from Honduras, where he had attended the inauguration of President Xiomara Castro as a special envoy for Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen.
